The Research Network

The researchers behind the record.

Every country in the AER dataset was researched by someone reading that country's statistical system in its own language: independent researchers, statisticians, translators, lawyers, economists and journalists across five continents, working to one structured template under the editorial supervision of the American Emigration Revue.

They are credited here jointly, as the network behind the body of work. The research itself, and responsibility for every published figure, is AER's.
